I'm thankful that I am able to help others. I'm able to buy extra food at the grocery store to donate or to buy gifts for an Angel Tree donation. I'm able to donate clothes I no longer wear to make room in my closet for new clothes that I am fortunate to purchase.
The homily at mass this morning was helping others who are less fortunate than you are, buy providing food, shelter, clothes or healing. “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:40.
I am thankful that I am able to follow the gospel in this way.
